Grit & Grace is Grace House’s annual motorcycle safety and awareness ride. The journey spans more than 100 miles, mirroring the long trek many families take to access urgent, lifesaving medical care in Western New York. Your ticket purchase directly supports families seeking medical care in Buffalo.

At Grace House, we support patients and caregivers by providing a safe, comfortable, private room, nutritious food, and reliable transportation. Our program is donation-based, and families are served regardless of their ability to pay.

You may wonder why we host a motorcycle safety and awareness ride as our signature event. The story is deeply personal to our mission.

Grace House was inspired by a young man from Buffalo named David, who was critically injured in a motorcycle accident while riding in North Carolina. As he fought for his life, his family found refuge in a nonprofit guest house like ours so they could remain close to his bedside. David’s remarkable recovery – and his family’s experience of having a safe, supportive place to stay – became the inspiration for both our mission and the heart behind this event.

At Grace House, we serve many families walking through medical crisis, including those recovering from serious motorcycle accidents. In moments like these, the emotional strain is often matched by financial pressure, especially when travel, lodging, and time away from work are involved. Our program is entirely donation-based, and no family is ever turned away due to financial hardship.

Grit & Grace honors resilience, promotes motorcycle safety, and helps ensure our guests can focus on what matters most – healing or supporting a loved one.
